When a new patient tells obstetrician and gynecologist Megan Beatty, M.D., that she has come because she was highly recommendation by the patient’s mom, sister or friend, she’s feels extremely honored.
“It’s very rewarding to know that I’ve had a positive impact on someone’s life and that they shared their experiences,” says Dr. Beatty, who sees patients at PAMF’s Dublin Center.
She feels privileged being part of some of the most special – as well as some of the most difficult – times in a woman’s life.
“I make sure I get to know how my patients are affected by any health issue and carefully explain all their options in detail, so each woman can find the right treatment option for her. That’s my passion,” she says in this video, which is part of a series highlighting the diverse voices of PAMF physicians.
