Integrating Science and Wisdom

“In 30 years of practicing medicine, I’ve never had a boring day,” says PAMF cardiologist Tak Poon, M.D.. Dr. Poon believes in using cutting edge technology to help his patients heal. But for the state-of-the-art cardiology treatment to be effective, he feels doctors must know their patients well.

“I believe in integrating state-of-the-art medical technology with the time-tested ancient wisdom of self-healing,” says Dr. Poon in his video. “We must know the patient as a whole person and place their health problem in the context of their life. To me, that is the art and the reward of practicing medicine.”
