Sharing Advice and Laughs: Sujata Tipnis, M.D.

Posted on Jun 7, 2012 | 0 comments

Laughter not only feeds the soul, it lowers blood pressure and relieves stress. Sujata Tipnis, M.D.,  FAAP, MPH, pediatrician at PAMF’s Fremont Center, counts herself lucky that laughter is a regular part of her job.

“I laugh everyday, working with kids,” says Dr. Tipnis. “I don’t think many people can say that about their jobs.”

Dr. Tipnis cherishes the connection she makes with her patients as particularly when they take some of her advice to heart.

“I’ve had 3-year-olds stop watching as much TV and teenagers start exercising more because of conversations we’ve had,” said Dr. Tipnis. “I find that amazing.”

Learn more about Dr. Tipnis in this video, which is part of a series highlighting the diverse voices of PAMF physicians.
