Video Series: Diverse Voices of PAMF Physicians
Posted on Jan 4, 2012 | 0 comments
Did you know the Palo Alto Medical Foundation has more than 1,000 physicians? Kicking off the new year, PAMF will feature a video series highlighting a different physician weekly, as a way for you to get to know the depth and diversity of doctors caring for more than 700,000 people across the Bay Area.
The strength in those large numbers lies in PAMF’s ability to provide comprehensive medical expertise in all the major specialties. In fact, PAMF pioneered the multispecialty group practice as one of the nation’s first.
Yet, the real work of caring for communities happens in each individual interaction between doctor and patient.
The video series will highlight each physician’s own philosophy of care, what they love about their work at PAMF and the unique relationships they share with their patients and the communities they serve. In December we shared a sneak peak with PAMF oncologist Dr. Peter Yu’s philosophy of care video.
Maybe you’ll see your doctor featured! Along the way you’ll find out more about the diverse, multilingual, multifaceted individuals that make up the growing not-for-profit health care organization that has served our community for more than 80 years.
